My professors in grad school once told me that once you get a large amount of research on a topic, find a way to publish it. Since academic wasn't the place for me, I went into historical fiction. I landed in Renaissance France while researching my ancestors on my Dad's side of the family. With piles of research and a tiny crush on Henry IV, I started writing about Henry's mistresses.\n\nI love biographical fiction above anything, and my books detail the lives of the real women of the French Renaissance. If you love reading historical fiction with a big emphasis on the historical part, I think you'll love my books.\n\nWhen I'm not busy writing, I'm trying to catch up on Game of Thrones or stuck in traffic.
